Telephone counselling service for sexually diverse individuals, their family and friends. Operates 7 days a week from 5:30pm to 10:30pm.

Gay and Lesbian Counselling Service NSW

The Gay and Lesbian Counselling Service is a volunteer based organisation that provides free anonymous telephone counselling, coming out groups, smart substance abuse groups, training in communication skills and access to face-to-face counsellors to members of the GLBT communities.

Newtown NSW however one of its services is the gay and lesbian line.

A service specifically for gay and lesbian youth (under 26 years old). They provide medium-term accommodation, information, resources and referrals, groups and activities, family support services, counselling, individual support, advocacy and rural support.

AIDS Council of NSW (ACON)

This service provides a large amount of health information (especially sexual) for gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transgenders. Services include fun and esteem groups, workshops and groups for young gay men under 25 years to talk about issues concerning them, develop their self-esteem and social networks and the ins and outs program for young lesbians.

This service is about supporting families and friends of lesbians and gays to understand and accept homosexuals- their slogan is "Keeping families together". PFLAG have 10 groups, operating in different areas of Australia, 4 in NSW.
